Even though I have 3 kids that love to remind me my age, I myself stopped counting by the time I was 20 (agelimit for buying alcohol, lol)
But the thing is, during the years I have done so many things and experienced a lot and it makes it so much easier to connect with other ppl and it gives us something to talk about.
I have lived all over the country, and I mean literally, from north to south. And I have done all sorts of work from working with children to sit quiet in an office. In other words I am experienced, not old!
I realized that when I talk to ppl we find we have something in common. Maybe its traveling, maybe its work, maybe its interests. No matter what it is, we find something. Its been like this for years, I just didn't see it.
I still remember meeting ppl just crossing my path, but after 5 minutes really made a difference in my life.
I remember one man I met randomly on the street, he was a tourist and we started to talk and I still remember how he urged me to go my own path and start a project I at that time just had in my head.
If he only knew what his encouragement meant to me at the time.
I cant remember his name, or his face or where he came from, but I do remember his words.
So you see, what u say to ppl and how you meet them can make a hughe difference. I just hope and wish I made a small different in somebody elses life.
You did, Margrethe, you really made a difference in my life :)
